Who We Are and What We Do

KansasMoney.gov is a multi-agency website that makes finding financial literacy resources from the State of Kansas easy. Each of our agencies provides different consumer protection and education services, as well as supports different financial literacy organizations and programs. Our hope is that this website can be a one-stop-shop for Kansans to find the resources or agency they need.

Also featured on KansasMoney.gov is Smart About Money.  Smart About Money has a wide variety of financial topics to explore and tools to help with your financial journey. There are answers to common money questions, worksheets to keep track of your progress, and in-depth courses for a guided financial education experience, all FREE. Smart About Money is one of the many programs of the National Endowment for Financial Education®. NEFE® is an independent, nonprofit foundation committed to educating Americans on a broad range of financial topics and empowering them to make positive and sound decisions to reach their financial goals.
