Who We Are and What We Do

KansasMoney.gov is a multi-agency website that makes finding financial literacy resources from the State of Kansas easy. Each of our agencies provides different consumer protection and education services, as well as supports different financial literacy organizations and programs. Our hope is that this website can be a one-stop-shop for Kansans to find the resources or agency they need.

Another key feature of KansasMoney.gov is the Kansas Financial Learning Center. This online personal finance course is FREE for all Kansans. The Learning Center contains 17 modules, covering topics such as Saving, Investing, Credit Score, Identity Theft, and more. We know how busy life can be, so the modules only take between 2-10 minutes each.

For a list of consumer education and financial literacy events happening across the state, check out our Events page. To submit an event to be placed on our calendar, send an email to info@kansasmoney.gov. Please list (1) the name of the event, (2) name of the organization putting on the event, (3) the date, (4) time and location of the event, and (5) any other event details.

Do you need to file a complaint with the State, but aren't sure which agency you need to talk to? Check out our Complaints page.
